Dear Ryan Murphy,
are you sitting comfortably? Have a notepad & pen nearby? You might feel the need to write a couple of things down when you read this letter..
First of all - big fan of Glee. It's a highly entertaining show which (unlike most shows on tv right now) is trying to tackle very important issues we see at schools.
But, those issues... They may not be discussed as well as I'd like to see.
Kurt Hummel, I love you. Your face is cute, your voice is phenomenal and the fact that you're an out gay high school student makes me want to you hug - and I don't hug just anybody.
You see, Kurt is such a brave young kid. Sure, he was creepy when it came to Finn last season, but Kurt is so awesome that he actually learned from that debacle!
I would like to see him cry less and see him kiss a little more with Blaine. And since he's not kissing Blaine at all at the moment that isn't such a hard thing to write into the show. When Dave Assholowsky smashes him into the lockers and Mr. Shue says something alone the lines of "it's a tough world out there" it makes me want to PUNCH him in the face. It's bullshit! I got bullied in school. Did I like it? Hell no! But sure it made me stronger in the end. But this isn't just bullying... This is homophobia. It's a huge problem in the USA and seeing it get tackled as "simple bullying" is crap. I'd like to see Dave Assholowsky die in a fire, but since that isn't likely to happen, I'd just like to see him packing his bags and leaving Ohio FOREVER. And don't think it's not possible - 'cause if an all boys school has a "zero tolerance no bullying policy", Dave Assholowsky can definitely leave without ever coming back.
Rachel Berry, you are gorgeous and your voice is AMAZING (and I'm writing in caps to show just how FUCKING AMAZING Lea Michele can sing).... but way too loud, annoying and egocentric.
Please Ryan, tone Rachel down.
Brittana - bring them back together!!!!! Forget Bartie - Brittana is love and it should be back together.
And more sweet lady kissing scenes. More pinky holding. MORE SWAPPING OF GUM.
Now I don't know the ship name for Sam and Quinn (Sainn? Suinn? Sann? Qam? Quim? Help me!) but I do sure love them. Al though Quinn's attitude is not great (liked it more when she was pregnant. HEY remeber that?! She was pregnant, had a baby and everything. Will this never be a subject ever again? She's over it now? No emotional problems? Okiedokie..) but Sam is just precious. Let's keep him around just. the. way. he. is.
Could we give Finn a little more credit and make him a little less stupid?
Could we give Puck a taste of his own medicine and make him a little less of an asshole?
Mike Chang should not sing ever. again.
More solos for Tina, Santana and Mercedes!!!!!!
Bring back Gwyneth Paltrow!
Can Mr. Shue stop talking about Michael Bolton? We know he loves him. We GET IT.
More Sue. I don't care of you have to give her more screen-time than the actual Glee club - just do it.
Bring back NPH!
Last but not least - I admire the way you've updated the music selection from sounding like "a drag queens iPod" to.. well.. a more modern drag queens iPod.
Sincerely yours,
jesswantsitall.
(PS: unless I name an actor I am not talking about the actors who work on the show but about the characters they play. And also, I do really admire the show, these are just my thoughts. And I do really think Ryan Murphy is doing a good job. He's no Ilene Chaiken, ifyouknowwhatImean)

The pros and cons of winter.
Pros:
Scarfs, hats, earmuffs, gloves -- all fashionable and keeps you warm!
Hot choco -- preferably with mini marshmallows.
The landscape is beautiful and perfect for a photography nut like myself.
Candles for coziness.
Blankets on the couch to keep me warm.
I get to pull out my pillow with holes for my feet. It's a silly sight but keeps my feet warm.
The snow! So fun and pretty!
Cons:
I'm always cold. Always.
I don't like to go outside since my everything will freeze off.
I can't open the window in my room 'cause it will be too cold, which results in a musty room.
The way the snow and ice causes chaos in public transport and causes traffic jams.
It gets dark around 4 o'clock in the afternoon, which makes me want to sleep at 4 o'clock in the afternoon.
Falling down 'cause the road and sidewalk are so effing slippery.
Defrosting the car.
It takes ages for me to get warm in bed, which result into me not sleeping for at least an hour after I lay in bed.
I love winter. I hate winter.

Thoughts on Unbearable Lightness.
I haven't finished listening to Portia DeGeneres' book "Unbearable Lightness" but because it's so intense I just can't wait to comment.
First off; Portia's voice is freaking cute. When she says "everything" and "anything" her Australian accent comes through, but that's really the only time you can notice she's Australian. It's just cute and soft!
What I noticed in her book is how hard she was on herself. She was ruthless. It's good to see perspective and know that sometimes things are your own fault, but she would ALWAYS turn events to her fault. And that is really heartbreaking. And a little annoying. I mean after hearing her bring herself down for four hours you really just wanna reach through that iPod, grab her and shake her!!
When Portia first mentioned Ellen (in the context of "I can't be an out lesbian because Ellen DeGeneres just came out and as a result her tv show got canceled") I squealed. I know this book is not about her relationship with Ellen but her sexual orientation is definitely a big part of this book and that's why I don't feel bad mentioning that.
Her calorie intake and weight are freaking insane. FREAKING. INSANE. I weigh about 160 pounds and I'm about 5'11 tall so that's a balanced weight... Portia is 5'8 and she weighed 82 pounds at one point during her eating disorder. 82 pounds. That's nothing. I'm surprised she could walk.
Portia did have very unfortunate people around her. "Face it, you have big legs" is not a very smart thing to say to someone who has just been trying on skirts for the past 4 hours and couldn't fit in any of them. Especially when they cry out "I can't do this, they picked the wrong girl".
I'm now more than halfway through the book and I can't listen to it non stop, 'cause I will get depressed. The story really grabs me. I feel sad for Portia, I can't believe she felt that she had to go through all this.
Most of all, I'm happy she wrote this book and I'm happy she got out of this horrible period in her life. Will give my final thoughts in future blogpost.

The like list.
I bet you're eager to know what I like, so here is my "like list". Dislike list to follow.
- Audiobooks, 'cause (especially with biographies or memoires) it's more personal than just reading the book.
- The way Genius in iTunes makes a playlist - it's not always accurate which makes it hilarious.
- Chris Colfer's face. It's too cute.
- To-do-lists. Or really any kind of list. ;-)
- Anything green. Or purple.
- I buy magazines so I can cut out the pictures of my favorite celebrities and put them up on my walls.
- Winter, 'cause of the scarfs and hats and stuff.
- Mac/Apple.
- Lea Michele's voice.
- Anything by Tori Amos.
- Candles.
- My afro wig. Don't ask...
- Calenders & posters. I sort of collect them..
- Twitter. I tweet as if it's oxygen. But not in an annoying way.
- If you hadn't noticed; I like Glee. (more like LOVE Glee).
- Matthew Perry's face. *melts*
- AfterEllen.com. Even though I stopped commenting and daily checking up on articles, I still enjoy most of the things they do over there. Sadly we no longer have the pleasure of watching The Terrible Three attempt to recap tv shows... Those were the days..
- Aaron Sorkin. But again more like LOVE. Favorite screenwriter fo sho!
- Bags. If I had loads of money, I would not spend it on shoes like most women ala SJP.. I would buy bags.
- Lady Gaga. Reminds me of Freddie Mercury and David Bowie - whom I also happen to LOVE.
- Skyping with my friends.
- Food. I could never diet, 'cause I love food too much to tell myself "I can't have this". I eat sensibly though, I don't binge or whatever, but I wouldn't deny myself a second piece of pie just 'cause it would make me "fat" or something - I would deny myself the second piece of pie 'cause srsly one piece is enough.
- Jane Lynch/Sue Sylvester/Joyce Wischnia. Yeah. Made of awesome, right there.
- The West Wing. LOVELOVELOVE. Can't. Get. Enough.
- Socks. Al though I find that putting on socks is hard.
- Fleetwood Mac. And by Fleetwood Mac I mean Stevie Nicks and Christine McVie.
- The Harry Potter Series. Basically J.K. made me wish it was all real. I want a wand asap.
- To stay in magic - Charmed. Three ladies kicking supernatural ass. Yeah, you guessed it.
- Queen.
- Photography.
- Coca Cola ftw. Pepsi sucks.
- Bathrobes.
- YouTube.
- Did I mention Matt Perry's face? Oh right...
- Friends! The show! My first tv show crush. Everything I know in life I learned from Friends.
- Pop tarts.
- The mash-ups on Glee. Genius.
- Will & Grace. Or should I say Jack & Karen? Last Ex To Brooklyn << best episode ever.
- Tegan and Sara.
- LastFM. Just 'cause it adds to my musical obsessions with suggesting music to me.
- Brittana. :) Faberry too though.
- The "It Gets Better" campaign.
- Facebook.
- Google Chrome.
- Meryl Streep. My queen, my lady, my obsession, my 'make me weak in the knees'.
What's next?
